I went to school for television and film and quickly found out that getting a job is hard, so I worked at a gas station in Jackson, Missouri, for a couple of years while I started photographing and filming weddings with my best bud, Josh. We shot over 150 weddings together over ten years for our company, "Kashmir," and now I'm focusing solely on wedding photography in St. Louis and the Pacific Northwest. I've been working as an editorial and fine art photographer for the past five years and have been exhibited in New York, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Chicago. I've also done extensive editorial commissions for The New York Times, NBC, and ProPublica.

I like to think that my style is timeless and classic. I don't really follow or allow myself to take part in trends because trends are trends for a reason. I love a mix of color and black and white and always have a film camera with me. I draw inspiration from photographers like Stieglitz, Lange, Schutmaat, and Mahaney, then mix it with painters from the late 1800s. I will mostly sit back and let the moments happen in front of me but won’t shy away from placing you in the patch of golden light if it is hitting just right.

You invest in me, and I invest in you. When you book with me, you get years of experience and the peace of mind that comes from knowing someone who truly values photography and the idea of love is handling your day.
Photography packages start at $5,500 and can be tailored to fit the needs of your wedding.
