Bryan grew up in Festus, Missouri, and is currently based in Tacoma, Washington, where he serves commercial, editorial, and wedding clients. He holds a B.A. in Mass Communications from Southeast Missouri State University, and his work has been recognized by both editorial and fine art establishments. His long-running series Articles of Virtu explores the intimate relationship between people and the cars they own, weaving together portraits, environmental details, and the places they call home.

Alongside personal and editorial projects, he photographs weddings with a focus on authentic moments. His documentary background shapes the way he approaches each wedding — with a thoughtful, human-centered perspective. He has been photographing and filming weddings full time since 2015 and over those years his work has expanded beyond Missouri into the Pacific Northwest, where varied landscapes and dramatic light have helped develop a fresh visual voice for weddings and portraiture.

His professional commissions include contributions to The New York Times, NBC, ProPublica, and WildSam. The next phase of his creative life will look at combining his love for documenting weddings with the twists and turns of assignment and fine art work.
